Salt Washed Real Indigo Knitwear

At Gloverall, we’re proud to champion British manufacturing. For SS19, we’re excited to introduce our new real indigo knitwear for men and women, produced in the UK.

Our manufacturer was involved in experiments with indigo denim yarn to successfully create the first indigo sweater back in 1985, and have been expertly crafting knitwear ever since.

One of the oldest fabric dyes, indigo is plant-based and renowned for its ‘living colour’ which will adapt with wear to fade naturally and gradually. Our knitwear has been dyed with real indigo then salt washed using traditional methods to create a soft finish and textured colour, echoing the appearance of denim.
